Northwest Soccer Officials Logo
As a soccer referee in Washington state, the organizations and community that I work with are important to me. South King County Soccer Referee Association was rebranding to Northwest Soccer Officials and needed a logo for their new identity, so I developed a mark for them.
We began the branding process through a discussion of what the organization’s goals are, how they want to be viewed, and how the logo would be implemented. I then did a competitive audit and presented a style overview that showcased my findings alongside some basic proposed design concepts.
The next step was to explore design directions for the logo. After presenting multiple options, we decided to pursue an emblem logo that included a lettermark for the organization.
Over an iterative process, the logo was finalized. I created a full logo file package that included vector files and image files of various sizes for the many uses of the new logos and the coin design. The final step was designing several mockups showcasing the designs to act as inspiration and brand guidelines.
